For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people. But be sure that everything is done properly and in order.1 Corinthians 14:33,40
1. START THE DAY WITH GRATITUDE AND KEEP A GRATITUDE JOURNAL
Make it a habit to list three things you’re grateful for each morning. Not only will this practice make you happier, but it can also help you keep small irritants like slow traffic in perspective and other people’s mistakes or misbehavior. Starting the day with gratitude will help to be calm instead of grouchy or provocative. Jump out of bed and boldly declare, ” This is the day the Lord has made, I shall rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)
Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.
I’m thanking you, God , from a full heart, I’m writing the book on your wonders. I’m whistling, laughing, and jumping for joy; I’m singing your song, High God.
2. KNOW YOUR TOP 3 TASKS
Every morning, start the day by listing the top three tasks that you have to do, no matter what. Then list the three tasks you’d like to finish next if time permits.
But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’ “Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him? And if he can’t, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away. So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.
(Luke 14:28-33 NLT)
3.PLAN YOUR DAY BASED ON ENERGY
Traditionally you plan your day by time slots. But when you budget your energy instead of your time, it’s easier to get things done. That’s because you’re leaning into your natural rhythm.
The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!
4. LISTEN TO MEDITATION
Every night before you go to bed, listen to a meditation; this can help you relax and let go of the stress of the day. You’ll find it easier to put aside your worries and get to sleep.
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
So may the words of my mouth, my meditation-thoughts, and every movement of my heart be always pure and pleasing, acceptable before your eyes, my only Redeemer, my Protector-God.
When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
(Joshua 1:8 )
5. DRINK A GLASS OF WATER
When you first wake in the mornings, you may have a feeling of dehydration from a night of fasting. To boost your energy and replenish your body, guzzle eight ounces of water first. You can mix your water with freshly squeezed lemon juice and Apple Cider Vinegar with the ‘Mother.’
Jesus answered, “If you drink from Jacob’s well you’ll be thirsty again and again, but if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never thirst again and will be forever satisfied! For when you drink the water I give you it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit , springing up and flooding you with endless life!”
(John 4:13-14 )
6. GET COMPLETELY READY
If you work at home or spend your time caring for children, it’s easy to wander around in your PJs for most of the day. But getting dressed and ready for the day can make you feel motivated and energized.
So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes.
7. TAKE TIME TO JOURNAL
No matter how you feel, take the time to journal. Sometimes, writing about your feelings can help you sort through them and come up with an action plan.
Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying: ‘Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
8. SKIP THE SMART DEVICE
Checking your phone or tablet first thing in the morning isn’t very productive. It can cause you to run late, getting to work, and it can distract you from your goals for the day.
Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.
Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
9. DO WHAT YOU LOVE
Spend a few minutes each morning doing something you love; this will energize you and help you feel more motivated to be your best self.
Where you deposit your treasure, that is where your thoughts will turn to—and your heart will long to be there also.”
10. TIDY UP YOUR HOME
Coming into a messy home after a long day isn’t fun or relaxing. Even small activities like stacking your dishes in the dishwasher or starting a load of laundry can keep things looking tidy.
For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?
(1 Timothy 3:5 )
doing all things in a beautiful and orderly way.
(1 Corinthians 14:40)
She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.
11.CREATE A HIGH PRAISE PLAYLIST
Fill it with upbeat songs that make you feeling dancing; This can make your housework feel fun and help the time spent cleaning pass quickly, and you also use time of worship. Use high praise for a home gym session.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! It’s time to sing to God a brand-new song so that all his holy people will hear how wonderful he is! Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums! God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!
(Psalms 149:1, 3, 6)
12. MAKE YOUR BED
Making ready your bed makes your room looks cleaner. Plus, you’ll enjoy the excitement of trudging under the sheets when you go to bed at night.
My bed is spread with beautiful blankets, with colored sheets of Egyptian linen. I’ve perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
13. CREATE A MORNING CHECKLIST
It’s easy to get overwhelmed in the mornings, especially if it isn’t your best time of day. But the day can seem just a bit more manageable when you have a checklist that shows you exactly what to do next. Do your check-list the night before or weekly.
A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesn’t, and even brags about it!
Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.
14. ORGANIZE A HYGIENE BIN
Grab a reasonable case to store your personal care items such as your hairbrush, face cream, floss, and toothpaste. In the mornings, just grab your bin and get ready.
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,
(1 Corinthians 14:33)
15. REVIEW YOUR LONG-TERM GOALS
Every morning before you do anything else, take time to review your long-term goals. Then glance at your to-do list. Are the tasks on it getting you closer to achieving those goals?
Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds;
So I run straight toward the goal in order to win the prize, which is God’s call through Christ Jesus to the life above.
ON A FINAL NOTE, COMMIT EVERYTHING INTO GOD’S HANDS.
Listen, Yahweh, to my passionate prayer! Can’t you hear my groaning? Don’t you hear how I’m crying out to you? My King and my God, consider my every word, for I am calling out to you. At each and every sunrise you will hear my voice as I prepare my sacrifice of prayer to you. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altar and wait for your fire to fall upon my heart .
Go ahead and make all the plans you want, but it’s the Lord who will ultimately direct your steps. Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed.
(Proverbs 16:1, 3 )
