Thanksgiving Day 9- Thanking God For Tender Love

Let everyone thank God, for he is good, and he is easy to please! His tender love for us continues on forever!

Ps.136:1

It’s time to pause and thank God for His Love.
His love is tender. His faithful love never ends, unlike that of man. God is LOVE. Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else . Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.

That love is endless. It is not conditional on what you did or what you will do.

Let everyone give all their praise e and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why—he’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends.

Ps.107:1
His love is tender, unconditional, and endless.

Let Love be the principal motivating factor in all that you do with and for others.

It is good to pray. It is terrific to prophesy, and there is nothing terrible about preaching but engaging in all that without love is a waste.

At the end of it all, love is the only thing that will remain.

Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.

1 Cor.13:13

It’s Time To Gauge Your Love Tank

Pause and Ask Yourself These Questions

🔸How patient enough am I with others?

🔸How much tolerance do I have for others who don’t look, sound, or act like me?

🔸Do I get jealous when others have what I thought would come to me? Do I wish them well or inwardly cursing their blessing?

🔸How well am I committed to celebrating with others on the successful outcome of their efforts?

🔸How boastful am I about my achievement?

🔸What drives my motives for service -Money, fame, accolade?

🔸Do I struggle with praying for those who have hurt me?

🔸How much hate do I have for others?

🔸How frequently do I cover other people’s sins, or how am I quick to expose?

Genuinely answer those questions, repent, commit to change, and ask God for help where necessary (Psalm 139:23-24)

Pray

Father, I’m grateful for Your tender and unconditional love towards me. Please help me to be like You, fill my heart with love more and more of it. Fill my heart with so much tenderness and compassion that there would be no room for hate. Let love be the driving force behind all I do for You and others. Thank You, Lord!
