PRAISE

We are to come before God with the PASSWORD Thanksgiving. Before the existence of the digital world, God has invented the password to enter his presence, and that has been Thanksgiving. We are required to praise God for who He is and what He had done.

You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name!

Psalm 100:4

REPENT

Sin is a real blocker when it comes to prayer. We have to go before God in repentance and ask for forgiveness and cleansing.

“Yet if I had closed my eyes to my sin, the Lord God would have closed his ears to my prayer.”

Psalm 66:18

If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them , he will be faithful to forgive us every time. God is just to forgive us our sins because of Christ , and he will continue to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we claim that we’re not guilty of sin when God uncovers it with his light , we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

1 John 1:8-10

ACCESS

God knows our needs before we come to Him at all. There is nothing that is hidden to Him. He has the provisions and the solutions before we can ever come before Him. We have access to His treasures, but we must come. If we have the key and we don’t use it, it will not be God’s failure but ours.

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

Isaiah 65:24

Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.  Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.

Matthew 11:28-29

YIELD

Calling on God is an indication of our dependence on Him to guide our decisions and choices. So, we should not just speak to Him, but also be willing to hear from Him. Prayer is not a monologue but a conversation.

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.

Proverbs 3:5-6

I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the Lord says and how he will answer my complaint. Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
