When Jesus was here, He preferred to associate with not so powerful or mighty but the meek and the downtrodden.
He knew that those who were powerful would not need Him since they were self- sufficient. He also knew that the weak, the oppressed, and the hurting would seek Him out and readily receive help from Him.
But when Jesus overheard their complaint, he said to them, “Who goes to the doctor for a cure? Those who are well or those who are sick? I have not come to call the ‘righteous,’ but to call those who are sinners and bring them to repentance.”
